Each product I try out I will add to the list. I will add things I have done to make them more palatable for me. These are all ideas I have created myself or from my coach or from the website
http://www.escapefromobesity.net/ which is filled with medifast friendly recipes. I will add anymore sites that I use to find fun alternatives as I find them.
New site
www.sandyskitchenadventures.com this site you need to click on the tab “medifast recipes only” she has non-diet recipes too, so just make sure you get on the right tab first.
Any added sweetener (unless stated) will be xagave, its my favorite choice right now. If I change in the future I will let you know.
Let me also say, that I have tried every meal from the package, following the directions as they are printed. Some I regret trying this way, but most are pretty good bases to start from and can only get better from there.
I hope to try every item on their menu so I can have an objective opinion of everything. But we shall see how much I am up to the task.
Oatmeal
Apple cinnamon oatmeal
~ add cinnamon, like a half tbsp. And depending on your palette, some added sweetener. Only a tsp is needed but it will make a big difference.
You can also make muffins with any of the oatmeal’s, man are those yummy.
Oatmeal Muffins
1 packet of oatmeal
.5 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sweetener
1.5 tsp cinnamon
.5 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup of water

Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal ~ so far this is yummy the way it is. I do add a tad bit, about 1/8 tsp of xagave sometimes to add a touch more of flavor. But honestly this one is good on its own.
Eggs
Original Style ~
These are great. They are a good basis for however you like your eggs. They cook up pretty fluffy and the taste is spot on for eggs. I prefer mine scrambled with a little bit of onion, mushroom, bell pepper mixed in (just make sure to take out any veggie you add off your total green for the day) Then I top it with a little salsa to spice it up. It makes up more than I thought it would and feel rather full when I’m done.
Pancakes
Original~ Yum, these things are so good and versatile. Just follow the directions and they make about three medium to small pancakes. You can make them and put them in a mug to cook in the microwave and thats yummy. Or you can try this recipe. I didnt create the original version of this, just modified it.
Breakfast Sandwich
1 packet of pancakes (works well with all versions)
1/8th tsp baking powder
1/4th cup water
mix together and put in a microwave safe bowl (I use a glass ramikin with a squirt of pam) for about a minute. Take it out and cut it long ways making two bisquits
2 egg whites
salt and pepper to taste
cook the eggwhites however you choose. (I use the same ramikin that I cooked the pancakes in in the microwave, just be sure to watch them, they like to explode, lol)
1 morning star sausage patty
1 slice of cheese.
Stack it together however you like and there you go! Its amazingly good. It does count towards some of your lean (the eggs and sausage) but it still on plan. Just dont have it everyday. With everything, eat it within reason.
Chocolate Chip~ Man these are good. As with the original, these things are so good and versatile. Just follow the directions and they make about three medium to small pancakes. You can make them and put them in a mug to cook in the microwave and thats yummy. Or you can make the sandwich recipe above, again yummage!!!
Spiced ~ These are great. They are good with the sandwich, but I find they are a tad moist to make good bisquits, but the flavor is good and if you are out of the others this will totally do the job.
